We recommend wearing long pants and closed-toe shoes with a small heel, such as boots or sneakers. We got you covered at Big Sky Stables we have jeans, socks, boots, hats and helmets for you.
No prior experience is necessary! Our experienced guides will provide basic instruction and ensure your safety throughout the ride.
Yes, for the safety of both riders and horses, we have a weight limit of 190 LBS 86 kgs
We welcome riders of all ages. Children 5 years old will need to be accompanied by an adult rider.
Yes, we have trails suitable for riders of all levels, including beginners. Our guides will match you with the appropriate trail based on your experience and comfort level.
In case of inclement weather, our rides may be postponed or rescheduled. We prioritize safety and will make decisions based on weather conditions.

Please arrive 15 mins prior to you ride time
With over 1,400 animal species and over 12,000 types of flora and fauna found in Nicaragua, you may see monkeys, sloths, squirrels, cows, anteaters, iguana, gecko, lizard, frogs, toads, various small and large birds, bats, butterflies, dragonflies, snakes, tarantulas, and SO MUCH more! At the beach you may encounter turtles, dolphins and whales when in season.
When you reserve a ride, that day and time is set aside just for you. A valid credit card for a deposit is needed at the time of reservation to guarantee your booking. If you cancel your reservation between the time you book it and up to 48 hours prior to the start of your ride, you will receive a refund of your deposit. If you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled ride, we will retain the full deposit amount for each individual reservation. If for any reason we have to cancel a ride, we will notify you and provide a refund. We reserve the right to cancel a ride at any time for any reason.
Gratuity is not included in any charge, and is always appreciated by the team. If you wish to offer a gratuity, please present it to the trail leader for appropriate distribution.
